The ELQ2-DT xDSL Line Qualifier is a handheld, battery-operated, multi-function measuring instrument intended for the prequalification, installation, and maintenance of balanced copper pairs.

- Physical parameter measurements on balanced subscriber access lines for ADSL, HDSL, ISDN, and PCM.
- Single-end measurements, including spectrum analyzer; impedance, return loss, LCL and NEXT measurements up to 2.1 MHz; noise and impulse noise measurements; and AC/DC voltage measurements.
- End-to-end measurements (using two ELQ2-DT), including measurement of all parameters up to 2.1 MHz for line qualification of subscriber access lines (loss, frequency response, and FEWXT) as well as master-slave mode by automatic communication between the two instruments.
