JDSU is committed to compliance with all applicable product environmental laws and regulations, inclusive of EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS), Directive 2012/19/EC (WEEE) and Regulation 1907/2006/EC (REACH).
Please contact customer service for more information on JDSU product compliance.
JDSU has implemented a comprehensive program to comply with the WEEE Directive as it applies to its Test and Measurement products. Two environmental friendly solutions are available for the disposal of customer Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE): Trade-in or Take-back.
NOTE: the Take-back program is available to JDSU test and measurement customers only in countries where the WEEE legislation applies. Recycling centers that require detailed product information about the products in the Take-back program, please contact JDSU's WEEE Program Manager.
JDSU's Encore Certified Equipment program allows customers to trade-in certain old test and measurement equipment for credit against the purchase of new JDSU equipment, JDSU Encore certified pre-owned test equipment, or JDSU PLUS Services. The traded-in equipment will be used by JDSU for spares or refurbishment.
JDSU has partnered with Recycling Network Europe to offer a free WEEE collection and recycling service to its test and measurement customers. WEEE is collected from the customer site and is then disposed of in accordance with national and European environmental legislation.
To request the take-back of WEEE, please contact your local sales office to request login details and a reference number. Then return to this page and follow the link below.
