The constant increase in the number and quality of available reagents drives a need for more filter configurations and for more precise filters. JDSU designs single-substrate, hard-dielectric fluorescence filters to the highest standards. Our new coating platform Ucp-1 with its high throughput at superior precision allows for a new paradigm in fluorescence filters: "Performance equal to IBS (ion beam sputtered) filters at the cost of traditional filters."
