1Fundamentals Courses
Consist of introductory courses. These courses give students an introduction to the fiber optic technologies and theory behind required fiber tests. These courses provide the foundation for the intermediate and advanced level courses.

2Intermediate Courses
Focus on the common fiber optic testing such as Optical Return Loss and OTDR testing. These courses develop upon the knowledge obtained in the fundamentals courses and focus on developing skills for the next phase in a students’ career. These classes consist of hands-on testing with test equipment to give the students a familiarity with real world scenarios.

3Advanced Courses
Provide career certification for the advanced fiber optic technician or engineer. These courses focus on real-world scenarios using various lab exercises. Students who complete advanced level courses will have demonstrated a mastery of the fiber optic theory and testing applications.
