Who Should Attend
This course is designed for technicians, engineers, and technical support personnel who are directly or indirectly responsible for installing and troubleshooting fiber optic systems.
Synopsis
This lab-only workshop covers both mechanical splicing and fusion splicing of 900um and 250un fibers ranging from one fiber to mass fusion of up to 12 fibers at one time. This is the fourth course of the JDSU Fiber Series and is a prerequisite for the ETA FOT (Electronics Technicians Association - Fiber Optics Technician) certification.
