Synopsis
This self-paced course offering provides a web-based training solution that introduces the SmartClass Ethernet tester for turn up testing and maintenance of Ethernet and IP services. Participants will become familiar with the user interface and gain the basic confidence necessary to use the SmartClass Ethernet tester for basic physical layer cable testing, layer 2 and layer 3 traffic generation, and full RFC-2544 testing. This course will cover the necessary system setup and testing configurations on the SmartClass Ethernet tester, and where to find test results. This course will not provide further detailed information regarding Ethernet technology, troubleshooting, and results interpretation.
