- Analyze, Emulate and Detect all Muxed and Concatenated payload
- Facilitate In and out of service testing
- Perform Automatic Protection Switch tests,
- Verify end to end path connectivity with the Path Trace
- verify synchronization messages and more through the use of overhead byte manipulation and viewing
- Ensure that SONET/SDH rings are providing the guaranteed quality of service in verifying switch to protect times
- Qualify and access the performance of network through error/alarm insertion and measurement capability
- Supports ANSI and ITU performance measures to facilitate the circuit acceptance
- Verify the proper attenuation, output power levels and interface operation with the integrated power meter
