The SecureShift® MetaSwitch label is a design concept that combines the overt authentication of SecureShift Technology with a specially formulated non-shifting color. 

This eye-catching effect highlights the contrast between the color shifting and the static color part of the label, giving consumers a simple and obvious means of visually verifying genuine products. The MetaSwitch effect acts as a self-evident mechanism reinforcing consumers’ recognition of the security device. A SecureShift MetaSwitch label provides a strong deterrent to counterfeiting since it is extremely difficult to reproduce convincingly, and also offers a unique design element for personalizing labels. 

This patented process (U.S. Patents #5,766,738: #6,114,018) is only available from JDSU’s secure label production facility.
