Top Telecom Network Provider
Milpitas, Calif., March 3, 2009– JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU and TSX: JDU) today announced that it has been granted a Core Partner Award from Huawei, a leading provider of next-generation telecommunications networks. Huawei granted the Core Partner Award to JDSU based on key criteria that included the technology, quality, responsiveness, delivery and cost of its optical products and services. This is the second year that Huawei has granted JDSU the award.

The award was granted to JDSU executives at Huawei headquarters in Shenzhen, China during a ceremony in February, 2009.
