Milpitas, California, November 10, 2008 – JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU) today announced that its 2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 690 North McCarthy Blvd. in Milpitas, CA. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time on that date.
Stockholders unable to attend in person can access a live webcast of the Annual Meeting on the company’s website at http://www.jdsu.com/investors beginning at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Following the meeting, a replay of the webcast will be available until at least December 14, 2008.
The Company also announced that the meeting will be initially convened at the same location at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time, November 10, 2008, for the administrative purpose of preserving the record date. The Company will seek an adjournment of the meeting at that time so that the business of the meeting may be conducted at the originally scheduled time.
