(OCLI) (Nasdaq: OCLI), announced today that its stockholders approved the merger with JDS Uniphase (Nasdaq: JDSU and TSE: JDU) and the merger has closed. Under the terms of the merger agreement, each share of OCLI common stock will be exchanged for 1.856 shares of JDSU common stock. OCLI common shares will immediately be converted to JDS Uniphase common shares, and OCLI will be delisted from Nasdaq as of February 7, 2000.
