MAP-200 Firmware Update: Version 2.5.6

UPGRADING FROM FIRMWARE 1.2.0, 1.3.4, 1.4.4, 2.0.16, 2.3.8, 2.3.12, 2.4.18 or 2.4.20

 

To upgrade to 2.5.6 from current version:

Upgrade Procedure

You are now able to download the firmware by clicking on the link below. Once this is done, the steps below shall be performed. Please read the instructions below before upgrading your MAP-200 platform with the firmware you downloaded from the web.

  1. Insert a formatted USB memory stick into your PC. It is recommended to have the memory stick formatted with FAT format.
  2. Copy the .zip file that you downloaded from the web and save it into your PC.
  3. Once the transfer is completed extract the content of the .zip file to the root directory of your USB memory stick.
  4. Remove the USB memory stick using the appropriate procedure for your PC.
  5. Plug your USB memory stick into your MAP-200 platform.
  6. Navigate to the settings screen.
  7. In the setting screen select the upgrade tab.
  8. Press the upgrade button.
  9. The upgrade will then take place (approximately 25 minutes). When completed you will be notified of the successful completion of the upgrade.
  10. The MAP-200 will prompt your to reboot the chassis.
    To verify that the unit has been effectively updated, after power-up you can verify the firmware version on the system screen.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

  • The upgrade may take longer if upgrading from an older version of MAP-200 firmware. If upgrading from a version lower than 2.0.16 you may anticipate additional delays and reboot cycles between upgrades.
  • If the upgrade fails, please reboot the chassis and repeat upgrade procedure as described above
