Technically oriented personnel working for carriers, ISPs and system manufacturers as well as network planners and administrators who are involved in the design and construction of VoIP networks and services and must know about the various techniques and protocols.

This course is designed to provide an introduction to VoIP networks. The motivation for the development and implementation of VoIP networks is explored. Technical issues that affect the users perceived quality of service are explained as are the protocols used to implement VoIP.
