Xgig is the industry’s leading tool troubleshooting all of the issues affecting the mission critical data in your data center with a configurable flexible platform for multi-protocol analysis, load generation, and error injection, addressing all current SAN technologies up to 12G SAS, 16G FC, and Ethernet rates up to 40Gig-E. The Xgig can reduce finger pointing between workgroups and vendors by quickly identifying the source of performance issues. It is widely considered proof-positive of network equipment interoperability issues so it can reduce time to problem resolution.


Based on a flexible and scalable platform, various blades support a wide range of protocols and can easily be configured to act as a Protocol Analyzer, Jammer, BERT, Traffic Generator, and Load Tester, all managed from a common interface and without changing hardware. An intuitive GUI combined with automated testing capabilities simplifies troubleshooting, and multiple chassis can be cascaded together to synchronize testing across even the most complex network configurations. Xgig is the only protocol analyzer supporting multiple protocols – including Fibre Channel, Ethernet, FCoE, and SAS/SATA – in a multi-functionality environment, all within the same chassis.
