ChromaFlair® and SpectraFlair® pigments are used to create striking, color-shifting effects that emphasize body contours and enhance products in motion.

Since 1996, many successful OEM vehicle programs in the U.S., Europe, and Asia have incorporated our color-shifting technology, including the 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra, using JDSU Mystic, and the 2011 GM Cadillac CTS, using JDSU Thunder Gray. To date, more than 25 vehicle makes and models are enhanced with ChromaFlair pigments, and hundreds of custom and concept vehicles have been unveiled at automotive shows around the world.

Both ChromaFlair and SpectraFlair pigments are fully tested and have complete automotive OEM approval. Basecoat, clearcoat, and tricoat systems are formulated using solvent-borne, water-borne, and two-component refinish systems.
