The platform supports many optional capabilities, including OTDR, optical power meter, optical light source, visual fault locator, and digital fiber scope, that allow the use of one platform for comprehensive testing of your network.

- ensures that copper cables can support gigabit Ethernet
- tests network connectivity (from Ethernet interface discovery to Layer 4 port connectivity)
- discovers network devices both on and off the subnet
- collects statistics and analyzes network utilization/traffic patterns/top talkers
- performs true wirespeed capture on gigabit Ethernet links
- uses on-board industry-standard Wireshark to analyze captured PCAP files
- performs VoIP testing, including Mean Opinion Scoring
