Time-Bandwidth Products
January 26, 2014—Time-Bandwidth Products manufactures high powered and ultrafast lasers for the industrial and scientific markets. Use of ultrafast lasers for micromachining applications are being driven by increasing and global use of consumer electronics and connected devices. December 10, 2013—Trendium solutions help operators of 4G LTE networks proactively identify, isolate and resolve network and service performance issues that have the biggest impact on the customer experience and  also help operators identify and capture short-lived asset monetization opportunities. March 8, 2013—Arieso provides location-aware software solutions that enable mobile network operators to boost 2G, 3G and 4G/LTE network performance and enrich the mobile subscriber experience.  Arieso adds high-caliber software engineering expertise to JDSU to address rapidly growing deployment of small cells and challenges associated with limited spectrum capacity. GenComm
August 17, 2012—GenComm provides wireless test and measurement solutions and is based in Seoul, South Korea. GenComm’s solutions were previously distributed by JDSU under an OEM relationship and are used by tier one service providers, wireless network manufacturers and contractors around the world to quickly provision wireless services that help them create new revenue streams and improve wireless service for millions of users worldwide. Dyaptive Systems
January 5, 2012—Dyaptive Systems, a Vancouver, BC-based provider of capacity test solutions for 2G, 3G and 4G wireless networks.  Dyaptive provides subscriber emulation systems for wireless technologies, including emerging long term evolution (LTE)/4G being deployed by service providers worldwide.  These solutions emulate high-bandwidth applications, such as streaming video across multiple wireless devices, to ensure quality performance for service providers and their customers. QuantaSol Ltd.
July 7, 2011—QuantaSol, a concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) provider based in the United Kingdom, offers industry-leading multiple quantum well (MQW) technology. JDSU acquired critical product design, patented intellectual property and other assets from QuantaSol for its CPV cell product platform.  MQW technology allows more light to be converted to electrical power by raising the efficiency of CPV cells, the most important metric in the solar industry. Agilent Network Solutions Test Business
May 3, 2010—Agilent’s Network Solutions Test business offers service assurance monitoring systems, drive test, and protocol test instruments as well as innovative Long Term Evolution (LTE), or 4G, network verification and deployment products. With this acquisition, JDSU broadens its wireless service assurance and instruments business, including the emerging market for LTE/4G solutions required by the dozens of wireless service providers and network equipment manufacturers upgrading to this next-generation technology. Finisar Network Tools Business
July 16, 2009—Finisar Network Tools is the world’s leading provider of storage area network (SAN) protocol test tools, software and services. The Network Tools portfolio focuses on the SAN analysis and data generation and load testing segments, specializing in a wide range of storage protocols, such as Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, 10GigE, iSCSI, SAS and SATA. With this acquisition, JDSU expands its lab test market and creates new growth opportunities from the combined test expertise of JDSU and the Network Tools business. The transaction establishes JDSU as the leading provider of storage network test solutions and creates new opportunities to deliver innovation and enhanced services to our lab and manufacturing customers.
